Water Damage In Utility Room
The utility room pictured here had a lot of water damage to deal with due to a broken pipe that flooded the room. The crew of
SERVPRO of East Greenwich/Warwick was called to clean up the mess.
When we arrived, we began extracting standing water and placing drying equipment to help the excess moisture evaporate more quickly. We do this in order to mitigate any secondary damage. Secondary damage is any damage that occurs after the initial damage. One example of secondary damage is mold, which grows very quickly. That is why it is critical to make sure that the moisture is dried up as quickly as possible.
